The latest documented contractual phase ended on 23 January 2026. Malaysia’s 8 March update records about 7,571 km² surveyed across the operational periods under the 2025 agreement, without locating the wreckage.
Ocean Infinity’s separate statement reports more than 140,000 km² mapped cumulatively since 2018. These figures describe different scopes and must not be substituted for one another.
